Report

Depending on the incident you should consider if you need to report the incident that happened to the student.

You can do this using the following ways:

  • Report and Support. Report the incident using this portal as a third party. Give us as much information as possible and we will follow up providing the student with the support they need and yourself with further information and advice. You can also chose to do this anonymously if you prefer.
  • School Office or Placement coordinator. You can report directly to the placement coordinator or the school office and the school office academicadministration@qmu.ac.uk or call 0131 474 0127
  • Reporting to the NHS. Reporting to the placement provider. If the incident took place on placement in for example an NHS setting it would be primarily the placement setting who would be able to take the report/ complaint forward. This means that if you want your concerns heard you will also need to report to your placement provider. You can find out more about how to report in an NHS setting in this link.
